A Surprise Wedding
I’ve seen a few people talk about surprise weddings before, but I could never have prepared for the excitement when Carla told me they were moving their June wedding to November and surprising their closest friends and family. I think the family was in shock and didn’t know how to react, but their excitement definitely built as they jumped in their cars and headed to Hermann!
Carla got ready with just her mom by her side and I have to tell ya, I loved the simplicity of the bride and her mother having that uninterrupted peaceful time to prepare for the big moment. After getting dressed, we headed to the winery where Carla and Kyle had an intimate wedding in the wine cellar at Hermanhoff Winery.
The ceremony was perfect and ended with cupcakes, champagne and a lot of laughs and celebration. After family portraits, the newlyweds said bon voyage to their guests and we spent the afternoon getting some amazing bride & groom portraits! The Spillane’s wedding portraits are some of my FAVORITE portraits ever and I’m so glad to finally share a small peek into their day!
Carla and Kyle had a cabin up on the hill with the BEST view overlooking Herman, so of course we had to sneak in some portraits here <3
